“On The Boards” to Reality
This project was initially designed as a “beta” concept design that eventually became the built reality of The Emergency Pet Hospital, an overnight veterinary clinic and emergency hospital. The building is composed of three wings; reception & waiting wing, the treatment/ surgical suite, and the staff offices, lounge area. The building site is located 100 yards off the interstate but visually screened by outparcel buildings on the main access road. To help nighttime visibility for the pet owners in search, the building’s frontage height has been maximized, 13 exterior lights illuminate the building’s frontage and signage, in addition to the large floor to ceiling glass enclosure of the illuminated waiting area.
